Designers at The Luxury Exhibition Goa 2018

Goa's fashion has experienced a paradigm shift over the past few years. We have seen tons of suave, contemporary, cool and traditional labels make way into the high fashion markets of Goa. So who are the designers you should keep an eye on? Which are the labels that are set to deliver something unique, something different?  Besides, the known stalwarts of the fashion world, there are a number of relatively new and refreshing labels that the elitists of Goa can look forward to in 2018.

 We are bringing the first ever Lifestyle & Luxury Event to Panjim, Goa. The event has been conceptualized to meet the high end fashion needs of the elites of this tiny tropical state. Art in Embroidery by Charu Saigal

Who? Charu Saigal is a blessed designer who specializes in oil paintings. Her love for colors and inspiration from the nature translates into some exquisite ethnic designer work. Driven by the motto ‘Creativity Takes Courage’, Charu’s work is largely centered on floral designs & motifs. Her collection exhibits a refreshing balance of colors that reflects vibrant embroideries from parts of India, rich in heritage & culture. 

  

What the label offers:  Because Charu has a knack for making the humble 9 yard saree look designer. Her work carries her signature style and uses nothing but the best quality fabric. Charu’s artistic finger is always on the pulse of unraveling the latest in hand-woven Meenakari, Zari, bhandini. Charu’s collection is backed by team of extremely talented karigars who can breathe life into the customers brief.

Valliyan by Nitya Arora

Who? When Valliyan launched in 2008 India got its very first luxury fashion jewellery label. Founded by Nitya Arora, an alumnus of design from Parsons School of design, New York took the Indian jewellery market by storm with her cross cultural work. The Valliyan collection is inspired by the sculptural textures of India and a sophisticated mark of global craftsmanship. Nitya primarily works with semi-precious stones, glass, crystals, metals, acrylic, wood and rare materials, with gold plating for the jewellery and genuine leather for handbags.

What the label offers:  Having grown up in Mumbai, Nitya’s work embodies both ethnic and modern contemporary fashion beat. Her work includes jewellery, bags and other fashion accessories that many notable personalities of the elite society have appreciated & endorsed in the past. Through Valliyan, Nitya wishes to revive the intricate charm of the bygone era with a dash of the future trends in jewellery and accessories.

La Finesse

Who? An upcoming and promising brand in the fashion fraternity is La Finesse; a delightful label that deals in multi-designer fusion wear. The brand is defined by an extremely wearable collection of outfits that brings out the wearers personality, adding a stylish and confident look. Because a versatile Indo-western outfit worn well, can never go wrong

What the label offers:  If you are looking to take your celebrity quotient to its highest levels, La Finesse might be the answer to your search. Their work appeals to the young and fashionable who always want to wear the latest trends. La Finesses’ work includes a range of fusion (Indo-western) wear that exudes high levels of confidence with a creative flair.

Essemm by Saachi Maskara

Who? A complete footwear freak, Saachi is designer and dealer of all kinds of fashion footwear and clutches. Her motto! Keeping it stylish with the utmost comfort. Going against the norm, Saachi saw a huge opportunity in creating and curating stylish footwear, hand bags and clutches for high end customers. Her work is driven by the idea that the right kind of accessories adds an extra layer of beauty, elegance and exclusivity to any lady, no matter how ordinary the outfit!

Anka Fabrics by Dr Usha Devi Balakrishnan

Who? The brain child of retired government employee, Dr Usha Devi Balakrishnan, Anka fabrics brings a contemporary reincarnation of the traditional cream and gold weaves from Gods own country Kerala. Inspired by the elegant fabrics and weaves of Kerala, the brands forte is traditional and ethnic wear. The uniqueness of the Anka weaves lies in the simple elegance embraced in the designs and  that the fabric can be worn both sides!

What the label offers: Because its fashion with a cause! Be it using the highest quality of chemical-free cotton to the purest form of gold and silver, Anka definitely stands class apart from all brands!
