The attending guests rated the luxury fashion event as one of the best ever seen in town and found it to be very customer centric that addressed the fashion needs of Goa in specific. All this translated into sales that instantly made it easy for brand owners and designers build resonance with the guests.

We caught up with some designers on Day 2 and asked them how they felt about participating at Bougainvillea Lifestyle & Luxury Event. As told by most exhibitors felt was very unlike the other events they had been part of in the past. Designers were excited to see such a huge turnout and the interest and desire for high end fashion. They finally felt a platform had been created to bring serious connoisseurs of luxury fashion and couture designers and labels.

Day 1 at the Bougainvillea Luxury Fashion & Lifestyle Exhibition

Goa’s Luxury Fashion Gets Redefined

2018 will be the year when Goa is recognized not just as the land of sun & sand but a new destination for Luxury and Lifestyle fashion.
The much anticipated Bougainvillea Lifestyle & Luxury FashionExhibition kicked off with much fanfare and received a great response from Goa’s elites. The event was inaugurated by the eminent fashionista Rakhee Salgaonkar with a traditional diya lighting and ribbon cutting ceremony.
More than 300 distinguished guests that included sophisticated audience from the rich and affluent strata of Goa graced the event.

Besides this, people from the media, fashion & movie industry, netiziens and many other people from various backgrounds attended day 1 of the event.

Conceived and co-curated by Radha Goel and Poonam Mittal, the exhibition charts an incredible journey in couture fashion designers and luxury home décor. The infectious energy of luxury fashion and styling the serious fashion lovers found a lot of their choice at the event. Unlike many of the contemporary fashion shows, each exhibiting designer has personally constructed the garments for this event instead of showcasing off the shelf clothes one would find at any other upscale store.
Day 1 also saw many fashion enthusiasts interact one-on-one with the participating designers to discuss how luxury fashion could interlace their personal stories of life and career in custom made garments.  The guests soon couldn’t get their eyes off the stunning designer work at display. With the rhythms of soft music nestled in the air, the guests were seen moving from one booth to the next, only to discover more from the latest in fashion world. Geometric prints, embroidered sequins and opulent bridal work, bright details or futuristic & sophisticated cuts and colours; there was a lot for the guests to explore.
